Training Week: January 2 - January 8

Week of January 2 - January 8

01-02 - [Monday] - PM: 10 miles. The 'Great Plague of 2017' continues... can't believe I even left the house today.

01-03 - [Tuesday] - PM: 10 miles. Felt slightly better today....definitely no worse at least.

01-04 - [Wednesday] - AM:  5 miles  roads. PM: 8 miles (49:40).  Warmup then 8 x 600 @ 5:00 pace with about a minute in between each then cooldown.

01-05 - [Thursday] - PM: 10 miles (66:40).

01-06 - [Friday] - PM: 10 miles.

01-07 - [Saturday] - PM: 12 miles.

01-08 - [Sunday] - PM: 15 miles.  2.5 mile w/up then 10 miles in 60:00 then 2.5 mile c/dwn. (1:34:50).

80 miles on 8 runs.

Still sick throughout the week but not as bad as last week.  Felt much better by week's end. Didn't do quite as much as I had hoped due to work and some last minute things here and there (and being lazy)....But I still got in some solid runs distance-wise and can't really complain too much.  Somehow salvaging 80 miles is good all things considered.  Somehow I gained weight this week though...not sure how.  I'm getting old.
