December 19 (Friday) - Got out at lunch for 10 miles on the roads of Conway and Albany. Started at the ranger station on the Kanc and ran up to Moat View Drive then ascended Moat View up past the Darby Field Inn and then back down Chase Hill and Bald Hill. Then from there, headed south on 16 and then up 113 a bit to Cranmore Shores and then around a couple of neighborhoods including that of local elite (and a living legend of the Mount Washington Valley) Tim Livingston, who is the best masters runner in NH and getting faster with age. Then I cut through back out to 16 in Conway Village and back down to the Kanc to finish up in 1:02:01. A solid time for starting out pretty easy (the plan was originally to just run sub 7s) and having a couple of descent hills from miles 2-4.
