Goals for February:
Training: Keep up with 80+ miles per week plus some workouts from coach Fernando Braz to keep me on track for being in shape enough to run Boston.
Racing: Finish out the last 3 or 4 (depending) Granite State Snowshoe Series races and then compete in the first USATF-NE Road GP for CMS (DH Jones 10 Miler). I think we have a good chance of making real noise at DH Jones and it should be interesting for sure. I may finish out the short month with a last snowshoe at WMAC...that will be a game time decision I think.
February Schedule:
02-07 - Sidehiller Snowshoe (4M) - Center Sandwich, NH
02-08 - Frosty's Dash for a Cure (3.8M) - Atkinson, NH
02-14 - Horse Hill 7k Snowshoe Race (7k) - Merrimack, NH
02-21 - Kingman Farm Moonlight Snowshoe - Madbury, NH (tentative)
02-22 - DH Jones 10 Mile (10M) - Amherst, MA
02-28 - Hawley Kiln Notch - Hawley, MA
One day after Hawley is (I know it's early but...) the opening of the Mt. Washington lottery.... I got work to do...
